Xbox @ gamescom 2024 – Xbox Wire

After this year’s jam-packed Xbox Games Showcase, we’re excited to return to gamescom and connect with fans in Cologne, Germany from August 21-25 to showcase even more of what Xbox gamers have in store.

The community is what makes gaming – and gamescom – so special, and this year there’s something for everyone, whether you’re at the Cologne fairgrounds or watching at home via our live streams. This year, the Xbox booth will be packed with exciting upcoming titles, one-off experiences, and fantastic photo opportunities for games coming to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass this holiday season and beyond. We’ll also be hosting three days of live broadcasts from the show floor, connecting with our amazing community at the next FanFest, and much more. Keep reading for more details on everything we have coming up at gamescom 2024.

Booth for Xbox

This year, the Xbox booth will feature more than 50 game titles from Xbox Game Studios, Blizzard, Bethesda and our amazing third-party partners – spread across more than 240 gaming stations – along with amazing photo ops and experiences and specially constructed cinemas for an exclusive look. for upcoming titles.

Attendees will be able to try out upcoming Xbox releases, including:

• Age of Mythology: Retold

• Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred

• Fallout 76: Milepost Zero

• The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road

We will also organize an exclusive theater performance Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Starfield: Shattered Space.

Blizzard Entertainment will join the Xbox booth for the first time and return to gamescom with several offers for Diablo and World of War. Before the launch of the Vessel of Hatred expansion in October Diablo will bring an exclusive public hands-on demo of the Spiritborn sa class game to gamescom Diablo Immortal There is also a Helliquary boss tournament going on. World of War celebrate the launch The war within August 26 with the power of a special immersive experience that gives gamescom attendees a chance to feel the thrill of parachuting in Azeroth.

The Xbox booth will also have playable titles from our third-party partners, including Ubisoft Star Wars OutlawsSaber Interactive space marine 2, Uprising atomfall, and return GSC Game World’s STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl with a brand new demo. And in our Indie Selects area – dedicated to diverse, exciting upcoming titles from indie developers – we’ll be hosting games including Maximum Entertainment Squirrel with a gun, Noodle cake winter burrow, 11bit Studios creatures of Ava, and more.

Behind the Xbox booth, Overwatch 2 will also have a joint stand with Porsche, highlighting their new collaboration by featuring a life-size statue of D.Va modeled after the new all-electric Macan, along with an invitation for fans to step into a real-life rendition of the iconic Overwatch 2 map.

Game Pass @ Gamescom

This year at gamescom, Game Pass brings the fun with an exciting setup that reminds players that they can discover their next favorite game on multiple devices. Guests will have the opportunity to explore different sections dedicated to PC, console and cloud while learning about all the different ways to play their favorite games. In addition to the exclusive gamescom 2024 prizes available through Claw and Gacha machines, guests have the opportunity to play the Big Green Button and win exciting prizes such as:

• Game Pass Tokens (PC and/or Ultimate)

• NVIDIA GeForce Now cards

• WD_BLACK Computer and console storage

• Cloud Gaming devices (such as Amazon Fire TV Sticks and Meta Quest headsets) that can directly stream Xbox games

• HyperX headsets, microphones, mice and keyboards

Gaming for everyone

Xbox remains committed to the belief that gaming should be safe, inclusive and accessible for all. We are ensuring all areas of the stand are wheelchair accessible, adaptive Xbox controllers will be available upon request and there will be selected demo stations with height adjustable tables and monitors. We also have several American Sign Language (ASL) and German Sign Language (DGS) interpreters and audio description tours in English and German for guests who are blind or visually impaired.

In addition, we will have sensory aids and a quiet room for anyone who needs them, as well as “Here to Help” staff to help players of all abilities navigate our booth and gaming experiences. Please see the “Here for Help” counter for ease of access at our stand for support.

Community area

The Xbox booth will also feature the Community Hub this year! This cooler space within the Xbox Booth will be the perfect place for attendees to stop and hang out during the show, and will also feature special programming and activities from titles and teams across Xbox that will take place during gamescom. Activities will include cosplay sessions, trivia games, meet and greets with game developers and voice actors, and more! Be sure to stop by and see what’s going on!
