Jetson – Flight Test Pilots

We are recruiting globally to find the right candidates to join our international team. Our research and development center is located in Arezzo, Tuscany, with a team of experts.

Jetson is currently looking for several Flight test pilots to join our Flight Operations team in Italy.

key responsibilities

• Conduct flight tests on Jetson ONE prototypes as pilot in command and remote operator
• Fly and evaluate the performance of new and modified vehicles
• Communicate with R&D engineers and other team members to coordinate test flights
• Conduct unmanned flights in the “specific” category in non-standard scenarios
• Develop critical documentation including Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Pilot Operations Manual, Emergency Procedures and Specific Operational Risk Assessment (SORA).
• Demonstrate vehicle performance through flight demonstrations and trials

Who you are:

• Hold a VDS helicopter license or EASA PPL(H) or CPL(H)
• Hold UAS A2 or STS category “specific” for RPIC

Recommended:

• proven experience as a test pilot
• knowledge of VDS regulations and legislation.
• Knowledge of EASA regulations regarding UAS (SORA).
• Holding a PPL (H) or CPL (H) license.
• Previous experience in designing aircraft operations documentation such as flight operations manual, pilot operations manual (POH) and training syllabus.
• Knowledge of English
